Sarah & Jason – Narbeth, Tenby, and Beggar’s Reach
27 June, 2008
Before any wedding we’re always checking the weather forecast – not that poor weather spoils a wedding – but just so we know if we need the brolly or the sun tan lotion. As it was, Sarah and Jason’s choice of the 6th of June in Narberth, caught one of the most glorious days of the summer so far.

One of Sarah’s bridesmaids, Sally, was a previous client from 4 years ago – it was really nice to be reccomended by them, and even nicer to meet up with them again, and meet the new addition to their family.

Sarah’s dress was astonishing, with lots of intricate detailing and a fantastic long train.

The wedding car was a friend’s souped-up Mark I Ford Escort, and Sarah and Jason had a cunning plan to detour to Tenby’s South Beach for their portraits and bridal party shots.

Our second photographer was Louise from Burton Studios, who helped us out whilst Naomi was busy videoing the day.

The surreal moment of the day, was on the beach when we spied a bunch of lads carrying a leather settee. We quickly got them to agree to us borrowing it for our photos. Turns out they were Ascari, a local band using the sofa for their own publicity shots.

Sofa so good!

Jason and Sarah were such good sports, willing to run around in the sand, mess around on the furniture and even jump inside the nearby ice cream van. You can just see how much they enjoy life and love being with their friends and one another.

It was time to head back to the reception at the lovely Beggar’s Reach Hotel. There were some fab speeches including the moment Sarah’s Dad brought out her favourite childhood toy!

Thanks Sarah and Jason for allowing us to share your day – we loved it!

Hannah and Daniel in Abergavenny
13 June, 2008
Hannah and Daniel got married on 24th May on another hot hot day. It was so great to finally meet these two! Hannah and her mum were ultra organised and booked us so long ago that it seemed this day would never come. They are a fantastic family and we loved being welcomed into their home at the beginning of the day.

Hannah had this brilliant comfy outfit to wear while getting ready; you can tell she’s been planning this wedding a long time – it’s all in the details!

And of course beloved family pets always make it into the wedding pictures in some way.

I love this moment ‘between photos’ at the church gate. Everyone looks like they are really enjoying themselves, and Hannah’s sister Jodie can’t contain her laughter. I wonder if it was something Vince said.

Love this moment too! It’s brilliant when you catch the instant the bride and groom first make eye contact.

On the way to the Lamb and Flag Inn, Hannah and Dan took us to a really beautiful park to have some photos of just the two of them. The weather was gorgeous and yet the park was almost empty. Perfect!

And how about a little sneak peek behind the scenes?

Thank you to both of you for making us so welcome on your special day.

Ellen and Dafydd at the Falcondale
11 June, 2008
Ellen and Dafydd got married on 17th May at the lovely hilltop church in Llanarth, Ceredigion. Even Ellen’s family home where we started the day was done up beautifully for the wedding!

It was great to be at Llanarth Church again – last time it was in the middle of renovations but it’s now really lovely inside.

And the slightly grey and drizzley weather didn’t dampen any spirits afterwards!

Then it was off to the gorgeous Falcondale Mansion in Lampeter for the reception.

The place names were marked by blue wooden hearts, every one of them hand painted by one of Ellen’s friends. They were really beautiful, and what a lovely momento to take away!

The rain held off long enough for us to get out and about in the colourful grounds of the hotel with Ellen and Dafydd before dinner.
Thank you so much for a great day you two. The whole gallery is now available here
