Catrin and Ian’s wedding at Gellifawr
14 February, 2009
Another wedding from before Christmas.
Catrin and Ian got married at the beginning of December at Gellifawr, one of our favourite local venues.

We got to photograph the girls’ preparations at Catrin’s family home just outside Newcastle Emlyn. They’ve got the most fantastic entrance hall!

Catrin and Ian got married at 4pm, by which time it was almost completely dark. So they agreed to see each other before the ceremony to have photos together. We were really lucky and got some fantastic sunset light!

Don’t you love how happy they both look here!

Catrin’s mum arranged for the Aberporth Male Voice Choir to entertain everyone during the reception. They were truly fantastic.

All the flowers for the day were done by our good friends Angie and Kim of Fleur de Paris in Newcastle Emlyn. If you’re in the area, check out their amazingly gorgeous shop in town.

We stayed for the dancing at this wedding, and got to be entertained by the famous Tommo!

Liz & Gareth at Bear of Rodborough
10 February, 2009
We are so behind with blogging! Just wanted to catch up with a couple of weddings from back before Christmas.
Liz and Gareth were married on a very chilly day all the way back on 27th November!

Winter weddings can sometimes be a real challenge light-wise but we enjoyed the challenge of getting creative around this venue – the gorgeous cosy Bear of Rodborough Hotel near Stroud. There were lots of quiet corners of the building where we could capture a lovely Christmassy atmosphere.

Liz and Gareth had a very intimate wedding so everyone sat around one table for dinner – it was lovely!

And Vince does love to finish up with a nighttime long exposure.
