Lisa & Gary were married on 6th June at the fabulously located church at Mwnt, one of the smallest and oldest churches in Wales.

It was a very rainy day but the ladies coped uncomplainingly with the wet field.

The rain prevented us taking photos of Lisa and Gary on the cliffs by the sea as planned, but luckily Rhosygilwen Mansion where the reception was held is full of lovely spaces with great light. Lisa’s elegance in her stunning wedding gown made the job easy – and Lisa was up for anything!

I’m sure Gary will forgive us for including so many images of just Lisa here, but she just looks so incredible from every angle!

The wedding breakfast was held in the wonderful Oak Hall. We were recommended to this couple by our previous clients Lisa and Hefin and it was lovely to see them again and to be back amongst such a close knit group of friends.

Thanks again to Lisa and Gary for having us at your fantastic day! All the photos are now available here (They have chosen to have a password protected gallery, so please contact us or them for details.)

You can also now see their Take2 session (aka Trash the Dress)  we  had with them at Mwnt on a sunnier day

They’ve had their photos a short while now, and in the meanwhile we’ve been busy working on the video.

We had a superb day with Andrina & Stephen. We took far more than our usual amount of photos – everyone looked great, Mount Zion Chapel and Slebech Park are fantastic locations, plus everyone was just so happy and animated.

We were ably assisted on this shoot by Louise Burton of Burton Studios.

The ceremony was at Mount Zion Chapel in Hook, Pembrokeshire. It’s been smartly redone inside and was literally packed to the rafters with guests!

In parts of Wales there are various ‘Melltith’ traditions of blocking the path of  the groom or bride: in Hook they tie the church gate to stop the wedding party getting out until they pay a fee. So here are the groomsmen hurling pennies for the children to collect!!

Then it was off to Slebech Park for a beautifully sunny reception.

Emma & Steve’s wedding was a fantastic example of how rainy weather can’t spoil the day. Whilst outside was drizzly and overcast, inside was warm, cheery and fun.

This was our first time shooting with a new assistant, Lorna, and we got stuck in with Emma’s preparations.

The ceremony was lovely – held in the main room at Penrallt Hotel.

And on a rainy day our photos were all shot indoors, but don’t they all still look happy and like they’re having great fun!?!

We photographed Emma’s sister’s wedding back in 2006 and it was great to be welcomed back by the family again.
