When did you last wear your wedding dress?
28 September, 2009
Gareth and Hannah were married 3 years ago, and for their anniversary we spent the afternoon and evening with them in Aberystwyth snapping away on one of our Take 2 sessions. (We’re one of the few photographers in Wales doing ‘Trash the Dress’ style sessions)

In the past our Take 2 sessions have been on beaches and cliffs, so it was nice to explore a town for suitable locations. And Aberystwyth has loads of ‘em. And Gareth and Hannah are such a fantastic, happy couple that they were up for anything… as you’ll see!

The sunset at the castle was stupendous, so we rushed on down to the beach to eek out the last few drops of sunlight.

Then it was out on the town – starting with The Arcade on The Pier.

The deserted train station has great light, and Hannah and Gareth didn’t mind getting a little mussed up. After all, when else might they wear these togs?!

Finally, time for some good old Fish and Chips.

And in a parody of the American tradition of mushing one another with wedding cake….!

Thanks so much to you two for a fantastic day!
If you fancy a Take 2 session with us, then please give us a call.
Hawys and Marc – Caernarvon Wedding Photographs
25 September, 2009
On first meeting Hawys and her family I knew it was going to be a wonderful day. The family and friends were really welcoming and and had traveled from all over the globe for the wedding.
We were recommended to Hawys by previous clients, Hongy & Steve, and it was great to get to see them both, and their beautiful new baby whilst in the area.

I was also looking forward to this wedding because I would get to work for the first time with the extremely talented Mr Tom Arber, who acted as my second shooter. This shot of the dress is one of his.

The church - St Baglans is nothing short of amazing: pre-christian, in the middle of a field, on the foreshore of Caernarvon Bay, no electricity, few windows, but tremendous character.

The weather was becoming cold and windy so we headed back to Hawy’s parents’ house for the wedding recption.

Thank you so much Hawys and Marc for a fabulous day. All of their photos are now available to view (and purchase) on our wedding photography site

And finally a big thank you to Tom (seen here blowing the smoke from his lens) for getting some truly amazing shots.

Cliff Hotel, Gwbert – Ruth and Tirion’s wedding photographs
18 September, 2009
Our day started up on the Preselli Hills at Ruth’s parents.

As a new dad Vince is drawn in by little babies – and Ruth & Tirion’s little girl is especially enchanting.

The ceremony took place at the tiny, yet beautiful Blaenwenen Chapel in Llangoedmor.

And then on to the spectacularly located Cliff Hotel. We’ve photographed and filmed weddings many times at The Cliff Hotel, and never tire of the potential it has for great portraits.

All of their pictures are now available to view (and purchase) in the Client’s Section of our Wedding Photography web site.
Sarah and Ian – Newcastle Emlyn and Castell Malgwyn
3 September, 2009
This wedding was a real treat in many ways. It’s the closest wedding we’ve done – 3 minutes from home, our local minister and our neighbour as organist. And my assistant, Lorna, knew Sarah and many of the guests from school.

Sarah and Ian were fab – up for all types of locations for their portraits. This is the bridge at Cenarth Falls.

We found this beautiful field right next to the entrance to Castell Malgwyn.

All the photos are now available on the clients page of our Wedding photography website.
