Louise and David got married on May 10th on a scorching hot day! We started the morning at home with Louise and her bridesmaids. She was so calm and ready in loads of time so we had time for some lovely portraits as well as capturing all the bustle of preparations.
The ceremony was held at St Mary’s Church, Staunton-on-Wye, Herefordshire. It’s a stunning church on top of a hill with spectacular countryside all around.
Even when we can only take photos from the back of the church, it’s always possible to get some lovely images of the important moments. Plus there are those priceless captures you’d never get from up front!
We love this quick capture of Louise’s dad during the signing of the register!
Personally I love this next one – it’s The Look they’re sharing. A wedding day is so full of excitement and laughter but I also want to capture these quiet moments of love and contentment and the feeling that what they’ve done is right. This is what it’s really all about.
What did I tell you about stunning scenery?! I’m so glad we had the weather for it. It was almost TOO hot, but after the amount of rain we had all through last year’s wedding season I will never complain of the heat again!
Then it was off to the ultra modern Left Bank Village in the centre of Hereford. It was the perfect venue for such a hot day, with shady terraces looking out on the river.
Look at this stunning hand painted cake!!
Thanks again you two for letting us share your day!
