Some days you just get everything you want.
A wedding is always one of those days. Although Nia & Dafydd’s wedding day was complete for us as well as them. It was in two of our favourite locations, with gorgeous weather, a super-in-love relaxed couple, plus it was also Naomi’s first return to photographing a wedding since our daughter was born. It was lovely to be working together again – and an honour for that to be Nia & Dafyyd’s special day.
Having spent the morning documenting the preparations, I followed the bridal group to Cenarth for a relaxed snack at the Pub.
Meanwhile down at Mwnt Church Dafyyd and the lads were doing a wonderful job meeting and greeting the guests
A west Wales tradition is for a small child to block the bride’s path to the chapel until a toll is paid. This little lad seemed a bit bemused about his role!
Guests squeezed into the tiny medieval ‘sailor’s chapel’, for a lovely Welsh ceremony.
Then Nia donned comfy shoes (well suited to her 1950’s styled dress), before we popped down to the beach.
We drove to Rhosygilwen Mansion where canapes were served, before a handful of quick group photos.
And then the party moved up to the lovely oak concert hall for the wedding breakfast.
Thanks so much to Nia & Dafyyd for the privilege of attending their perfect day. Over 400 of their photos are now online to view and purchase at the ‘Clients’ section of our wedding photography site
