We had a lovely day a few weeks ago with Lisa and Geraint. It had been raining all the previous day, and even as the bridesmaids were gathering at Lisa’s flat they were under umbrellas, but it’s amazing how often the weather seems to work out for couples! In the end the whole wedding was bathed in sunshine.
Lisa owns and runs Body Matters, a beauty salon in Cardigan which provides wedding make-up services, so no outside beauticians were required here! (Contact us if you’re looking for a great make-up artist and we’ll give you her details!)
We love looking out for fun little details round the house.
We left Lisa to her finishing touches and found a slightly nervous Geraint and his team of supporters at Bethania Baptist Chapel in the centre of Cardigan. Lisa arrived promptly looking absolutely radiant, to be greeted by huge crowds of people in the street!
I love this next image, capturing a lovely natural moment between the two of them.
We made a very windy clifftop stop near Dinas Head…
…before going on to the reception at Gellifawr Hotel.
I loved the natural, country feel of the hall decorations. The speeches were really fun, with the bride and groom laughing and cringing in just the right proportions. 🙂
If I remember rightly, this very long sheet of paper was a list of Geraint’s previous girlfriends!!
One of Geraint’s Best Men directed the audience to stand up and move their hands together and apart…so that he could take a snap of the ‘standing ovation’ he received!
It was a pleasure to be with this wonderful relaxed couple on their big day; all the photos are now available to view and purchase here.
