Weddings from Whole Picture

Wedding photography at Pentre Ifan with Hannah and Mark

We’ve known Hannah and Mark and their gorgeous children for a couple of years now, and it was a real privilege to be asked to photograph their wedding and to share such a personal day with this amazing family! Hannah is a fabulous childminder who looks after our daughter Loren so Loren was very excited to see these photos, and was telling us who everyone was! She seemed to know and love the whole extended family. 🙂

After Hannah got ready at her mum’s house, her whole family gathered to travel to the venue together by bus. Her daughter gave herself the job of welcoming everyone to the bus!

But Mark had secretly arranged a stop-off with a surprise campervan!

Pentre Ifan is a gorgeous barn conversion completely tucked away in the Pembrokeshire countryside, and Hannah and Mark and the children had a great time making it their own with loads of beautiful details.

Everything was geared up for a lovely garden party when sadly the rain came down, but the fun carried on under the marquee! We loved the home-made photobooth with a great collection of props.

We took the campervan down to the beach where the rain eased off enough for us to get some gorgeous portraits. Hannah and Mark were so relaxed about everything that there was no way the weather was going to make any difference!

Back at Pentre Ifan everything was ready for an entirely home made and very impressive buffet dinner.

In keeping with the relaxed atmosphere, Hannah and Mark kept the formalities low-key with just one speech, before a very well received first dance. Everyone was very ready to party by this time. 🙂

We love this family!!!! I’m all teary-eyed! Congratulations to you all.

All the photos from the day are now available on the Clients page of our Wedding Photography web site with a discount for any prints or products ordered in the first ten days.

P.S. If you need a really excellent childminder, I will put you in touch. 🙂

These were a pleasure to view. The impression that comes across is one of warmth, informality yet sincerity, richness, and joy. What a wonderful looking family. It’s easy to see that you care about your subjects. Well done, and congratulations to Mark and Hannah.

Hi, i love this venue! after seeing these pictures im looking into booking it for my wedding. If the bride sees this can you give me tips on how to organise the day! its a totally DIY venue!

Hi Lissy – yes it is!! The couple’s family did all the catering and everything and had a buffet, though you can hire in caterers if you choose. They made the outside space look lovely too, so everyone went outside while the room was turned around from ceremony to dinner. Email us if you’d like to know more about it! Go to our main wedding site from the link at the top and you’ll find our contact details. 🙂
